Because there are several diverse causes for excess saliva, I suggest you see a doctor to find out what might be causing it. In the meantime, try to swallow frequently — even as often as every time you finish a sentence. Also, try inhaling through your mouth (this has a drying effect), don’t open your mouth too wide when you speak and, since the biggest saliva glands are in the bottom of the mouth, keep your tongue low and flat.
