Question:
Is it true, that classically trained tenors can benefit from exercising the falsetto voice from high to low and back again? And, if one does, is there a right or wrong way to do this?
Answer:
There are differing ideas and opinions about this. I recommend you go to your local library and consult Richard Miller’s book, TRAINING TENOR VOICES. The falsetto uses the false or secondary vocal cords so it does not help you develop phonation or breath management for full voice. It can help you practice the shaping of the articulators and accessing resonators.
