My voice becomes hoarse when I speak loudly, and when I speak softly no one is able to here me. This problem has been with me for about 8 to 9 months.
You need to see a doctor immediately, preferably a laryngologist. It sounds like you might have nodules, or at the very least, swollen vocal cords. This could have been caused by loud speaking, too much air in the voice or by a physical condition such as acid reflux, allergies or something else. The only way to know is to see a physician.
Once the health of the vocal cords is established, you need to work with a speech pathologist or voice specialist familiar with vocal dysfunction.
